Why do bad things happen to good people?

I struggle with this one. First off I’m not a good person. I’m a horribly selfish person and any goodness you see in me came directly from the Holy Spirit.

Second off, I feel like this question is missing the big picture. Why do bad things happen to good people? I don’t know. But my bigger question is, Who Wins? At the end of all this, who has the last word? 

Not this tumor. 

Not satan. 

JESUS CHRIST has the last word and that word is VICTORY. This tumor might be here to suck the life out of me for a while, but it’s not here to stay. Jesus is my healer and my deliverer - and He will win. That’s just who He is. Will I see victory earth side or heaven side? No clue, but no matter what I know Jesus has the last word, and that word is VICTORY.
